林華慶主修動物生態，長期從事野生動物與濕地保育，致力農田生態體系保全與里山倡議推廣。曾任職特有生物研究保育中心、台北市立動物園、林務局、文化部、國立台灣博物館，目前為林務局局長，推動國土綠網，翻轉林業。

LIN,HUA-CHING with a specialization in animal ecology, has long been involved in the conservation of wildlife and wetlands. He is committed to the preservation of agroecosystems and the promotion of rural mountain initiatives. He has previously held positions at the Endemic Species Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, Taipei Zoo, Forestry Bureau, Ministry of Culture of Taiwan, and National Taiwan Museum. Currently serving as the Director-General of the Forestry Bureau, he is driving the establishment of a national green network and transforming the forestry sector.
