在80年代漆器產業開始沒落時，許多廠商紛紛結束營業，林宣宏為了搶救、保全豐原早期外銷漆器的產品，將家鄉漆器廠的展示室樣品和生產機器設備全部買下，一買就是七大卡車，保存了台灣早期漆器的文化資產。

In the 1980s, when the lacquerware industry started to decline, many manufacturers were forced to close. In order to salvage and preserve the early exported lacquerware products from Fengyuan, LIN,HSUAN-HUNG took a bold step. He purchased all the display samples and production machinery from a local lacquerware factory in his hometown. The purchase required seven large trucks to transport everything. This act helped to preserve Taiwan's early lacquerware as a cultural heritage.
